I eliminated the chore of researching what is required to create a healthy terrarium ecosystem, and left you with the fun part of designing and creating your own Glass Gardens.

16-pages of reliable information, step-by-step instructions, and inspiration for creating a closed terrarium. My instructions summarize just what you need to know in an easy to follow format. My instructions are based on extensive reading, research and experience making the types of terrariums described. I included additional resources if you want to learn more, sources to purchase materials, and inspiration for materials and designs.

My instructions focus on closed terrariums, which are terrariums in containers that are entirely enclosed. When constructed properly, closed terrariums require almost no care and last for many years. You can use my instructions and kits to create open terrariums as well, which are terrariums in deep glass containers with an open top. The only difference will be in maintenance, open terrariums require more frequent watering.

The document will be emailed to you in pdf format ASAP. When purchasing, you agree to reproduce for your own personal use, the document is copyrighted and may not be used for any other purposes without permission by the author.

If you don’t want to buy whole bags of the supplies required for terrarium making, I also offer kits that include everything you need to make your own Personal Garden except the moss and the container! My kits come with enough supplies to make 4 small terrariums (1-quart canning jar size) or one large terrarium (1-gallon pickle jar size).

If you purchase these instructions and decide later to purchase a kit from me, I will refund the price you paid for these instructions (just remind me when purchasing in case I don’t recognize your name!).
