This pair of pillows has been created from an antique European hemp linen grain sack. Each pillow is ecru in color with bold red striping. We’ve left the original hand stitched seams and hems wherever possible and have added jute cording to create tie closures. The insert is a standard size feather filled pillow with 5% down and is covered in a new beige ticking.

One of the grain sack covers is a hair shorter in length than the other. The measurements are 18” x 23” and 18” x 25” and the insert pillows each measure 20” x 26”. The insert pillows are purposely larger in order to fill out the grain sacks nicely.

There are no rips or pulls. One of the grain sacks has a small rust stain (see photo) which is characteristic of these antique utilitarian textiles.
