ABSTRACT
Your pet is a part of your family, right? So be extra sure that she will be returned to you if she gets out. Microchipping is great, but a simple, readable collar tag is essential in ensuring your pet's safe return.
I have returned two wandering dogs to their owners simply based on the info on their tags. And our neighbor found my dogs out of the yard, but knew they were ours from their tags and kept them in their house until we got home from work. So it really is a lifesaver.
Those flimsy aluminum engraved tags from the pet store get worn out and become unreadable. Instead, let me make you a solid, easy to read, simple but pretty tag for your furry friends.
You *could* also wear this yourself as a pendant or carry it as a keychain tag, with whatever text you want on it. Let's work together to create the design.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
A sturdy copper gear sprocket is hand stamped with steel stamps, then oxidized and polished to bring out the letters and make them easier to read from a distance.
The tags pictured measure approximately 1 inch across (2.5 cm). On this tag size I can fit a name, phone number and design symbol or short word. I can also stamp the back as these are very thick.
I will contact you to verify the design requested, and confirm spelling/phone numbers. I'll make your tag once I have received confirmation that you're happy with the layout.

If you'd like to wear this as a pendant, I can put it on a leather cord or copper chain for a small additional cost. Let me know!
