1980s Canon AE-1 35mm SLR camera with 50mm f/1.8 lens
This beautiful piece of camera history was manufactured in Japan between 1974-1984. It was (and actually still is due to the film revival) a very popular SLR with amateur photographers partly due to its ease of use and its affordable price. It comes with the 50mm f/1.8 prime lens with FD mount. The shutter actually runs on a battery (included and working) and the battery compartment cover is intact (which is not always the case with vintage versions of this model). There is no lens cap, but you can easily purchase those online for a few bucks at B&H Photo, Adorama, or Amazon for example.

This SLR is in working condition, although I do not guarantee anything. I tested the shutter at all speeds, the film advance lever works smoothly, the shutter snaps just like it should. The camera body is clean and there is hardly any wear on the black metal and the chromed metal of the outside of the body. There are a few small spots on the chromed metal where the you can see tiny bits of residue from the (faux leather) camera cover. There seems to be a bit of fungus on the inside of the lens. It probably covers about a fourth or a third of the lens. You don't really see it when you look through the viewfinder, so you will probably not notice it on photos. If anything it gives a photo that vintage feel. Otherwise the outside of the lens is scratch free. The light meter works. I have not tested this camera with film.
