The tie is named after Geoffrey Chaucer, in honor of my husband (who studies medieval literature). I originally knit this tie for my husband as a birthday gift, and he has received so many compliments that I thought I'd add it to my Etsy inventory. (Seriously, so many compliments that I'm going to give him Lit Knits business cards to start carrying around! So you are pretty much guaranteed to look AMAZING.)
If you're interested in this tie in another color (including any colors listed for my other necktie styles), let me know. I'd be happy to knit up one especially for you!

NOTE: All Lit Knits ties and other accessories are knit by hand, rather than by machine, using high-quality yarn fibers. While I take great pride in my craftsmanship, hand-knitting may result in slight character flaws, given my hands’ fallibility. This, however, is what makes handmade items so interesting and so desirable for those looking for beauty, authenticity, and meaning in their bought goods. Keep handicrafts alive and support independent businesses! And please contact me if you have any questions about my materials or work practices.
