Argggg…there be pirates on Etsy.

Abandoned in a dank cave on an uncharted island, these dusty musty pirate skulls are the perfect collectible for the Halloween or Pirate enthusiast.

These pirate skulls would look great on a desk or book shelf, they are hollow with a two and a half inch hole in the bottom.

Originally made in 2008 the skulls have been pulled from storage, restored and repainted.

This is some of my earlier work and while some of the detailing is a bit primitive compared to my current work, the overall effect is very effective.

Each skull is made from recycled materials and a combination of different papier mache techniques.

The pirate features an eye patch, bandanna and two earrings.

Painted with latex paints and colorized with tinted stain and shellac this piece has a very antiquated look and feel.

This prop was designed for interior use only and should be stored in a dry environment.

Specifications: Approximately 8 inches tall x 9 inches wide x 11 inches deep and weighs 2 lbs, 1 oz.
