These sophisticated little guys feature natural Amazonite gemstones in a smooth, rounded rectangle cut. The color of these gems is so beautiful - a pale turquoise/blue-green with the creamy, dimensional striations that Amazonite is known for. To make these drop earrings, I forged a taper onto the ends of two pieces of Sterling Silver wire, added these beautiful beads, then formed the wire into hook style earwires. The tapered ends peak out beneath the amazonite. I have hammered the hooks in strategic places for strength and durability. I oxidized them, then polished back the highlights for a look that's modern but with suggestions of a slightly rustic vibe.
- Approximately 1 1/8 in. (29mm) total length. The curved part of the earwire is about 13mm in diameter.
- Featuring delectable 19x10mm natural Amazonite gemstone beads with a rounded rectangle shape and a fantastic pale turquoise/blue-green color and a subtle milky white striated texture.
- Hand forged Sterling Silver hammered earwires with an "antiqued" finish - oxidized patina has been polished back in some places, left black in others for visual interest and contrast.
- All metal is Sterling Silver.
