I think I used almost every stamp I have on these little copper bowls! And my favorite texture sheet. I love the rich, autumnal color! After drilling and cutting them from plain copper sheet with my hand punch and disc cutter, I decorated them with various designs, domed them, lightly antiqued them and buffed them a bit to bring up the patterns, and then tumbled them for several hours for a high shine. After I attached them with my hand-forged headpins to the base I had constructed from heavy gauge copper wire, I sealed them with high-grade made-for-metal lacquer to protect the patina color and shine.
I chose two lengths of fine copper-plated brass ladder chain in a dark patina on either side, which I thought was both delicate and unobtrusive. It fastens with one of my hand-forged S-clasps (also lacquered for durability). This necklace is about 17" long.
