Needle Felted Owl Ornament - Crocheting

This cute little owl is working intently on its first crochet project (it all starts with a granny square, right?), using a soft cotton yarn and tiny crochet hook. Carefully needle felted from soft wool, it measures about 3 inches (from head to tail) and is about 3 inches at its widest part (wings). The string (securely attached through top) is 5 inches long.
