Medium: Hand pulled 10.5 x 8.25 inch Caran D'Ache & Watercolor Monotype with Colored Pencil
Support: Arches paper
Process: Monotypes are made by painting on a smooth (not etched) plate, and pressing the still-wet pigments against paper to create a print of the painted image. For this piece, I used water-soluble pigments & watercolor on a plexiglass sheet. See the process photos in the listing for more information. After I pulled the print, I added colored pencil.
Edition: This is an edition of 1 (one).
Frame: The art is offered here <i>unframed>/i>. If you'd like it framed, please contact me for an estimate.
Story: The image was drawn and painted from a photo - one in a series of shots taken years ago, of my favorite model, early in the morning light, just after sunrise.
