I started this soap like I do all my soaps .. with olive oil and coconut oil. Olive oil because it is makes the mildest soap, and coconut oil to help harden and increase lather. To my oil mixture I added wonderful luxurious cocoa butter for your skin, and sweet almond oil because of its mildness and its ability to produce a stable lather, and finally castor oil, which also helps increase the lather. To mix with the lye, I used distilled water and GOAT MILK. Oh, goat milk! It does wonderful things to soap! Makes it creamy, helps increase the lather. For a scent, I made a blend of essential oils - mostly cedarwood, with clary sage, and a touch of patchouli, palmarosa, spruce, and ylang ylang. What I got is a great fresh scent, like taking a walk through the woods! And to top it off, I added some Rhassoul clay, which adds a bit of exfoliation to the mix. :)
So, we have a hearty earthy soap. I made it to please a man, but us gals like it, too!
