Decadent as can be, we use only the finest, clean, food oils; everything in this bar is luscious!
I did not set out to make a shampoo, I was trying to make a soap for my family that was safe to put on my body as a mommy and a great moisturizer too.
First making a homesteaders soap, rendering fats into tallow and then adding olive oil I made a wonderful soap; but I just couldn't add my beautiful olive oil to that anymore!
I turned to making the more difficult Castile soap, pure Olive oil. Also a wonderful soap, it just lacked the kind of bubbles I love. So slowly over 14 years changing the combination of oils, we created a decadent Shampoo, that you don't need any conditioner...the best for blow drying...no hair drops either...and the tangles brush out, unlike any product on the market. To use as a shampoo, wet hair and run the bar on your head the full length of your hair and then swipe underneath, massage and add more water, it will thicken to the consistency of shaving cream. You will feel the hair squeak when it's clean, rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary.
Allow to dry or blow dry and then brush. Conditioner is not needed, because of the high glycerin content in the soap!
All of my soaps are made with Extra Virgin Olive oil and Coconut oil.
Olive oil is the best for your skin!
Coconut oil is the best for your hair!
Shave with this bar for an amazing, smooth and refreshing close shave (feels like you've been waxed), well into the next day.
And because we make them at a low temperature (cold process) the soap retains all of its natural glycerin, Olive oil has the highest glycerin content!
Using only light weight, clean oils makes all this possible. Most soaps that use olive oil are using the soap making oil which is heated and chemically extracted from the food oil waste. Same with the coconut oils this is why those soaps leave behind soap scum, that scum you see contains waxes and minerals that deposit on your body, just as they deposit on your sink!
Clean food grade oils are cold pressed and unclog pores and that makes your hair healthier, thicker and beautiful!

This listing is for five samples a total weight of 6.5 ounces; aged for a minimum of 30 days.
Please note: Cococastile Soap is not suitable to be left in a pool of water.
Bars should be placed on a slotted or wire dish to dry between uses.
If bar becomes too soft, simply reshape and allow to dry.
