The Truth Be Told Mirror in 'Bold as Brass' offers an unflinching - some might say harsh - reflection of reality. The text on the reverse of the mirror reads:
"You are not as pretty as you think you are. You have bags under your eyes, & more wrinkles daily. Don't torture me so, please - look away!"
The Truth-Be-Told Mirror in 'White Liar', meanwhile, offers a more subtly tempered reflection (which you might prefer to hear):
"You are beautiful. You are clearly and by far the fairest in the land. How can you bear to tear yourself away from your own reflection?"
Mirrors measure 58mm diameter (approx. 2.25"), made from "top quality metal components and mirror glass". Each mirror is individually packaged in a biodegradable cello bag, with a Truth-Be-Told header printed on recycled cardstock. The design on the non-mirror side is adapted from a faux advertisement devised by TangleCrafts for the Enchanted Times, journal, and incorporates a vintage/classic illustration by Arthur Rackham (c. 1909).
