The heart is hand sculpted/cut from precious metal clay. When fired, the precious metal clay become .999 Fine Silver. The pendant is then polished and buffed by hand and then put through a tumbling process that makes it shine so beautifully.
When you order, I will send you a little kit to create your fingerprint impression. It is a two part putty that you simply mix together, roll in to balls and create fingerprints in the putty. Full instructions will be sent with the putty. It is really very simple.
After firing, the pendant is 3/4" in length and 1/2" wide at the top widest point. It is a dainty little heart. I have several pictures above so you can see the variations.
NOTE: NOT EVERYONE HAS A DISTINCT FINGERPRINT. CHILDREN UP TO 4 YEARS OF AGE DON'T HAVE VERY GOOD PRINTS-WHICH I HAVE LEARNED FROM EXPERIENCE AND READING ABOUT OTHERS EXPERIENCES. THE RESULTS ON THIS PENDANT ARE DEPENDENT ON THE RESULTS ON THE MOLD. IT REALLY IS A WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET KIND OF THING.
I sit this little pendant on a beautiful sterling silver 18" chain. I can do longer lengths if you will specify.
