The mother penguin has been needle felted with a rich black wool. I then layered on creamy white, orange, and yellow accents. The chick is a base of black wool with the softest grey merino felted over it. Both have been felted over many hours using barbed needles and lots of patience. I use a wide variety of needles to attain the smooth lines and unique details. You can read more about needle felting on my Profile!
