This is just the cutest little airplant! The Tillandsia "Ionantha Rubra" is a smaller variety - only growing to 3"-4" tall. For this reason it is one of the easiest air plants to use in terrariums (it can fit into almost any vessel...just make sure it has air flow) It is a beautiful, bright green color, and if given enough light, will turn bright red while in bloom. When it blooms, a number of small purple flowers shoot up from the center...how cool is that?
Our Ionantha Rubra are approximately 3" tall.
**IMPORTANT** - Tillandsia are cold sensitive, so some precautions must be taken when shipping in winter months. If you live in an area where the night time low is 25 or above, I can ship to you as normal. If the low is dropping below 25, please contact me before purchasing.
