EARLY MEXICAN SILVER, Iguala Silver Repousse & Jade Bracelet, 29 Grams


Just up the road from Taxco, Mexico, is the village of Iguala, home to many famous silversmiths including the taller of Los Ballesteros who got their start there. This wonderful bracelet is from Iguala, circa 1945, and very iconic in featuring the classic polished jade stone sterling bracelet.
The bracelet features six, polished oblong jade stones, bezel set in double columns of repousse spheres. The spheres are in excellent condition.
The bracelet consists of six panels and measures 7.5" in length when the push button slide clasp is engaged. This fabulous piece is 3/4" in width and weighs a substantial 29 grams.
