The specimens are carefully preserved under glass, the bottoms felted and each individually numbered and given completely unique details. Each one of these specimens is one of a kind.
This listing is for one specimen, featured most prominently in the first photo. The unique specimen tag reads:
No. 010.12 - Noticed one Wednesday morning beneath the large bird feeder in the front garden.
Please note, these are VERY small measuring approximately .5" wide and 1.8" tall.
The houses, mushrooms and ladybirds in these specimens are handmade from paperclay. The moss is natural. Any miniature snail shells were collected (long abandoned) from our vegetable garden. The domes are glass and therefore may not be safe for very little people.
IMPORTANT: The specimens are firmly in place but please do not shake as small flecks of moss may come loose and wander. If a fleck does get out of place during shipping, give the glass a firm flick with your finger and it should settle somewhere else.
