Finnegan's Brew Tap Handle:
One solid, laminated African Mahogany tap handle, approximately 9" tall, and 2.5" in diameter, shaped like a long-neck beer bottle with two woodburned labels. The top label will feature the black silhouette of a cat walking in front of a lightly shaded 4-leaf shamrock. There will be burned circumferential lines to border the label. The bottom label will feature Finnegan the cat's face centered on a 4-lined ellipse filled with alternately shaded chevrons. The cat's face will be outlined and the details like eyes, ears, whiskers, and nose will be burned deeply for definition, and the subtle shades of orange in his fur will be shaded to emulate the picture. Above Finnegans face will be the name "FINNEGAN'S" and below his face will be the word "BREW" - both double lined and shaded dark. The top of the bottle will have a woodburned rendition of a bottlecap. The tap handle will have a threaded brass insert that will fit most standard beer faucets, and will come with a brass or stainless steel thumbnut to tighten it in position.
Thank you Elyse! I'll talk to you soon.
If you've stumbled into this reserved listing out of curiosity, thank you for your interest! If you're looking for a tap handle, I have several available in my shop, and I gladly take custom orders. Feel free to look through what I have available, and also in my sold items section for more examples of my work. I've got a few new handles that I will be listing soon, so please check back soon!
My tap handles come ready to install. They have a brass threaded insert that fits most standard American spigots (3/8" X 16 TPI), and a knurled brass nut so the handle can be tightened in any position. If you have a favorite side you want facing forward - you can do it. The handle is shown mounted to my personal kegerator spigot (not included!) to show the proportion of the handle.
Dimensions: A little over 9" tall, and just over 1-3/4" in diameter shown. I can make any size you'd like.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a commisioned piece and you are not buying the one(s) pictured. If you would like one just like it, or from another species of wood, I'd be happy to make one similar for you. My turn around time varies depending on the complexity of the work, but in most cases, I can ship a custom handle in a couple of weeks. Let's talk about a custom beer tap handle!
