I enjoy using re-purposed glass to create yard and garden art for outdoor decor.
My creations are sturdy, weather resistant and gorgeous!
This has been created using various pieces of re-purposed glass and made to resemble a flower.
Note: This sale is for the feature only. any photos showing a grouping are for demonstration only.
~ First, I started with a vintage lilac purple glass dinner plate.
~ On top I have placed an iridescent vintage glass plate with petaled ribs of glass
It is a unique ruby/purple flashed glass. It measure about 11 1/2" in diameter.
This is an unusual glass with a carnival glass like iridescent sheen and it really
grabs the light!
~ In the center I have added an amethyst glass saucer and nestled a modern glass bowl
that is shaped like an open flower in a shade of hot pink.
~ For an added touch of whimsy I have nestled an amethyst glass teacup with a shiny glass
pebble for an "eye" in the very center of this composition.
I call this composition "Cassie" and it is a one of a kind piece of outdoor art.
This is a XL size suncatcher and measures about 11 1/2 inches in diameter.
My creations are weather resistant and bonded together with a strong adhesive for durability.
They are resilient to rain, wind and sun, but just to be safe I advise storage during the extreme Winter weather.
You can display this glass art in your yard and see it sparkle in the sun, always "in bloom".
Or, plant it in a large pot on your deck, sun room or patio for a conversational item.
The glass comes ready to mount on a 3 foot tall piece of sturdy metal which has been painted with a rust resistant paint. (included)
The metal rod will be shipped separately from the glass with easy assembly.
A hole has been pre-drilled in the rubber connector on the back of the glass for insertion of the rod. Assembly is a simple male/female connection.
Everything that you need is included in the price. There are no trips needed to the local Home Improvement store to buy anything.
These are heavy to ship but I will package safely and securely. Shipping costs involve shipping two (2) large boxes properly using sturdy packing materials.
If you live in the Peoria, IL area, local pickup is always an option. Please contact me for more information.
Note: Some minor wear and imperfections may be present on the glass as these items have been re-purposed and previously adored and used. I try to use the nicest pieces of glass available. I do not use anything that I would not be proud to display in my own gardens.
I ship promptly after payment has been received.
Thank you for your interest and please feel free to view my other glass art or as some might call them "suncatchers".....and have a great day!
