This cuff bracelet has the first 500 numbers of Pi, well 480 to be exact, photo etched in copper. Blackened with liver of sulfur, sanded for contrast and protected with Renaissance Wax. All of my cuffs are etched, not printed, therefore the design will never wear off.

This will bring out the geek in anyone.

Total length of copper is 6 inches, measured from widest points is 2.5 inches (standard cuff size). Metal was left with some give so it is easy to get on and off, but work hardened so it will retain its shape.

Your cuff may vary slightly from the one pictured.

All cuffs can be made in multiple, contact me if you would like more than one.

Picture showing it on for size reference is in sterling silver. The silver version is available here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/56373767/cuff-bracelet-etched-pi-in-silver

Most skin discoloration from jewelry isn't caused by an allergy-it's a reaction (oxidation) between our skin and the metals used in jewelry, especially when the jewelry touches areas that perspire. Some people have body chemistry that's more prone to staining than others. Salt content of the air, humidity, body lotion and many other environmental factors can also play a part.

Renaissance Wax protects the piece with a thin layer of jewelry grade wax, other options include a layer of spray lacquer or liquid enamel (clear nail polish) on the parts of the jewelry that make contact with the skin, done in thin layers to prevent flaking. All coatings will wear down in time depending on usage, but they can easily be reapplied.
