Inspired by the things I love : the moon, nature, 19OOs photography, sepia, handmade & vernacular items, Native culture ...\nWhich, put together, reminded me of Edward S Curtis\nhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_S._Curtis
We have a book of his photography that is just amazing.... you have outdone yourself curating this one...... you always find the most amazing things!!! (-;
All that and he's good-looking, too? What an amazing man! And what a terrific collection, sweetie. Gorgeous, heart-felt picks and I learned all about a fascinating historical figure whose work is stunningly relevant today. Yum!
> Jen : hee hee ! exactly what I thought ! Grrr gotta hate those talented AND good-looking fellas (just kidding ;D)
> Diane : indeed I knew that ! This treasury just *had* to include your work :)
i must confess i read the title and then went off to google Mr. Curtis.. and I'm glad I did. I knew more than I thought I did.
This is a wonderful collection.
We're honored to be at the table :)
thanks!
> VeraVague : I just LOVE your skirt (and most of your historical clothes)
I'm so glad when a treasury can make people learn new things ! (I linked to E S Curtis wiki page in the description text, by the way :D)
