Handmade vintage lace in muted goldenrod is embellished with blue metallic jacquard ribbons, rust colored ribbon, and metal elements in antiqued silver. The lines of the bra and the central coin draw the eye down to the abdomen. The coin pendant has a red stone and 4 scalloped coin dangles. You could easily attach your own belly drapes to the coin pendant and the back rings to change it up. Bra has soft, lightly lined, cups with underwires for support. It can be worn halter, traditional, or crossback. Included are cotton ties long enough to wear it in any of those ways. Everything is sewn on by hand, never glued, so it can withstand years of abuse.
This lace was handcrafted by my grandmother back in the 50-60’s based on a popular pattern of the time, and I love the soft golden color. This bra is much more “down to earth” than my usual designs, and I had to remind myself to keep it simple, putting it a bit closer to Tribal than Fusion. I like the contrasting textures; the soft matte lace, the subtle sheen of the ribbons, and the dull pewter toned metal beads that tip each scallop along the top and bottom.
All Merry Maenad items are made by hand, not machine, in a smoke free home. Vintage fabrics and trims are always dry cleaned before I sew them, so there's no musty odor. Metal embellishments are cleaned first too.

Like the bra but not the size? I happily do custom work in just about any size. Tell me what size you need, which bra you like, and what you like best about it. Is it the color combo? The style? The fabric? The embellishments? I can’t recreate the exact same thing twice, but I will do my best to capture the spirit of what you want. Want something completely different? I love a good challenge. Convo me with a custom request.
