Painting and drawing my way to sanity!

I have always loved drawing and painting, particularly how immersive and relaxing it is. When full time jobs and then children came along, art very much took a back seat. Now that I have snippets of time when my kiddies can play nicely together, I have absolutely loved carving out some time for myself to sit and rediscover my paints, pencils and pastels.

I have really enjoyed being challenged by family to depict various of their favourite animals. I wonder how many more they will come up with!
