Basically, I won't do anything with your data that I wouldn't do with my own.

I store individual transactions in a secure file on my external hard drive for 7 years for tax purposes.

I only share your address with Royal Mail or any other courier service only as necessary to deliver your order. Also, for security reasons, the Royal Mail and sometimes other couriers will ask about the contents of the parcel and this is shared in general terms.

I will not share your details without your permission with anyone else at all. I always try to avoid sharing personal information as much as possible and only share names and addresses with the Royal Mail and other courier services.

I may collect, use, retain, and share your information if I have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce my agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of my customers, or others. Sharing your data is always a last resort and I will always ask your permission before I do this.

Confidentiality is important to me. When I am completing tax returns and accounts, everything is stored securely on my external hard drive and I only share necessary information with HMRC with your full permission. You will receive pdf copies of all files that are shared with HMRC. I have a form for you to sign to give me said permission.

Once I've completed your tax return, your physical files etc. are returned to you to store securely. I store your data securely on an external hard drive for 7 years for tax purposes. This is a legal requirement. All files are then deleted and all paperwork is shredded. I do not share your information with a third party without your permission. I will always ask your permission before I share your information.

I always require you to sign your tax return to approve its submission before I submit it.
