Supplies to do real, traditional, kintsugi (no glue, no polymers), and a manual on how to do it too. I also offer workshops, online and in person. You can read my site on kintsugi, http://www.kintugi.com/
I also have a forum for kintsugi, https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/kintsugi
My focus is on quality in the selection of the materials.

I no longer sell low reaction lacquer because it has a weaker adhesion and durability than regular lacquer and for those people who will get a reaction it seems to not provide any protection.
There are 2 types of sets. A regular set and a beginner set. There is also a listing for most of the sets with an Internet based workshop.

The differences between the sets are
#1, the type of lacquer,
#2, the quality of brushes,
#3, the amount of materials.
There are 3 types of lacquer.
Shinurushi is a synthetic lacquer that isn't very reactive to skin and doesn't require any special drying conditions.
Cashew lacquer is derived from Cashew nut shells and is a little more reactive to skin. It too doesn't require any special drying conditions.
Real lacquer, made from lacquer tree sap, can cause reactions to skin. It requires a warm and humid drying environment.
There are big differences in the way each of them cure and how to use them.
The brush quality is important if you want thin, neat lines.
The regular sets have brushes that will give you thin, neat lines and are durable.
The amount of powders and the types of tools are different in the basic set and regular set.
The palette knife, water dropper, gloves, sandpaper, and wata are the same in all sets.
The amount of brass, gold, and tonoko are different, there is more in the regular sets.
The regular lacquer sets have an additional tube of real lacquer.
