5 out of 5 starsThis was really high quality and the expert knitter I bought this for was thrilled with the beautiful colour and softness of the yarn I have bookmarked this site and recommended it to friends as a place to buy unique yarns The speed of dispatch and delivery was great - we all know the excitement of opening a parcel of yarn with a pattern so this arriving so soon after the order was placed was wonderful

5 out of 5 starsThis was a custom order that was dyed, shipped from the UK and received in the US in three weeks. Very quick and exactly what I wanted. The colors are great, and the yarns feel amazing to work with. I would highly recommend both the tussah silk (blue) and the alpaca/mulberry silk (magenta). I will definitely be ordering more, but maybe different fibers to try them all out! :)
About WatercoloursandLace
I was learning to paint botanical watercolours. Then I discovered lace knitting and how to dye yarn, and a business was born.

Owner, Maker, Designer
I've always preferred the feel of natural yarns and love knitted lace. I hand-paint luxury fibres - alpaca, camelhair, cashmere, mohair, silk, yak and wool - in colours reminiscent of watercolour paintings, giving soft transitions to your project.
