Description

This is a reduction lino print inspired by a Gauguin Painting.

This is a reduction linocut - a print made with the use of a single block. Through a series of progressive cuttings, inkings, and printings, the image slowly emerges while the actual block is destroyed. A reduction print can therefore never be reprinted. This linocut was printed in a small edition of 10.

It's 5x7, on 9x12 rice paper. It's made with water-base block printing ink.
