Chickadee Watch ACEO Print

Description

Close by a joyfully tumbling mountain stream in an aged
and weathered cottonwood tree is one of the homes of the
water fairies who along with the water spirits who live in
the stream, compose the melody it plays each day. From
gentle gurglings to rapid and rumbling rushing, the
repetoire of the stream is endless. Sometimes the water
fairies weave bird songs into the sound of the water and a
chickadee named Trill is their favorite stream singer.
Trill is a constant companion and has his own perch outside
their doorway, just above a tiny twig suspension bridge
that crosses a crevasse in the old tree. The bridge hangs
from nearly invisible silken spider threads and looks as
if it simply hangs in midair.

The story is printed in fairy script and included with the ACEO card. All ACEO prints are available in larger sizes: 5x7 for $6.00, 8x10 for $12.00.

ACEO art card, 3.5" x 2.5". This image was created from one of my photographs of a knothole in a tree, where I believe a fairy lives. I then draw and paint the details on the photograph with a digital pen. I enhance what I perceive to be the door and then add other accessories such as little lanterns.
