Striped, Felted Tote Knitting Pattern

Description

This tote is easy to knit and after felting is the perfect size to carry books to class or a knitting project or two.

Warning: Knitting and felting is not an exact science. The results vary depending on the yarn you choose, the tension of your knitting, the temperature of the water, the agitation of your washing machine, etc. The fun is in not knowing exactly what will come out. Keep an open mind, and be prepared to occasionally rethink you’re original vision for your piece. Hats can become bowls and totes can become clutches.

Brown's Sheep Lamb's Pride (85% Wool, 15% Silk; 190 yds/4 oz skein)
Optional: Crystal Palace Waikiki (62% rayon, 38% cotton; 105 yds/50 gm ball)

Needles:
US Size 10 1/2 (7 mm) - 24" circular
US Size 10 1/2 (7 mm) double-pointed needles
