Last of the Winter Brown...Fringed Bead Necklace

Winter is wearing her best brown coat, but her sweet green slip of spring is peaking through.

I created this bead by weaving an inner bead in green and attaching beaded branches or fringe topped with chips of luscious picture jasper to the outside. The jasper surrounds the bead, but if you look deep inside, you can see the green underneath, waiting for it's turn to shine.

The 1" bead is suspended on a brown rolled leather cord with a lobster claw clasp. I haven't cut the cord yet, so you may specify your preference of length from 14" - 22".

I did some research on picture jasper and found the following:
