Description

Lapis lazuli was often used to make painter's tempera pigments before modern colours appeared towards the end of the 19th century. These deep blue oblongs and rondelles of lapis lazuli, with their sprinkling of iron pyrite (fool's gold) sparkle like the night sky. All silver spacers are Balinese silver.

All metal used in my jewellery is either Sterling silver (92.5% silver), fine silver (99.5% silver), or gold-filled and is sourced wherever possible from fair trade sources. Many of my glass and crystal beads come from family-run companies.
