Dark and Elegant Velveteen Bag

Description

This bag starts with a wonderful vintage fabric, printed (more like embossed, actually) in a bold pattern of white and metallic gold on black. The gold is done as faux sequins, which are really shiny, and look very real. I then pushed the shiny metallic look by adding silver and black woven trim to the top part of the bag, which is black velveteen. The tote closes with a black cord loop, and a faux pearl button. This bag is 15x10x3 inches deep. It’s fully lined in purple, (I know, in the photo the lining looks royal blue, but it’s actually purple!) and has an inside pocket. The wide strap is 28 inches long, and features more of the great silver and black trim.
