On the Wings of Spring - Mosaic Wall Art

"Whoa," said the bunny. "Check out the roses!"

This is my kids' and my fanciful interpretation of the mosaic challenge theme "On the Wings of Spring".

A bunny in a field of hand nipped clover peaks out from under a spring bush to the amazing sight of a rose flower flying to meet up with a flock of roses. Three more roses in the field prepare to join the fun.

17" x 20 3/4" mosaic in stained glass, glass seed bead and millefiori.

This mosaic is suitable for indoors or a protected outdoor location. The stained glass is attached to hardibacker concrete board with thin-set mortar. The grout is sealed and the back is painted with two coats of outdoor paint. Mosaic is framed out in solid wood painted with three coats of outdoor paint. Stainless steel hanging hardware is included.
