Polymer Clay covered Decorative patchwork Egg

Description

This is a real chicken egg, blown out and cleaned, then coated with polymer clay.

This one was first coated with liquid sculpy, baked, then I made patches of dark navy blue, textured them all with various texture patterns, applied a touch of gold dust and affixed the patches in a random order over the egg. After the final baking the whole egg was coated in clear gloss acrylic finish.

note, most of my eggs will have a very small hole on the narrow end. This is required for baking. I do not add any hanging device but it sure could be added easily enough. If you would like a hook attached here just let me know. Some people prefer eggs plain.
