Description

This image uses a palette that look so realistic. When I look at it it seems like he's in the room. It took about 60 hours to complete and I used 9 colors. The medium is fabric, fusible and a tricot backing. It is now completed with a hanging sleeve on back and ready to hang from a rod. The inside has a layer of 100 cotton batting. You cal also frame the entire piece.

This piece had the honor of hanging in an exhibition in the Washington, D. C. ares of Silver Spring, MD. The show was called President Obama: A Celebration if Art Quilts. The show has since published a book of 60 quilts that were showcased. The proceeds will go to a scholarship fund for the art students at Montgomery College, who hosted the show.
