This bag is crochet using a very soft and high quality Aran Cotton yarn. I've used a crisp ivory/white and a greenish/khaki (sandstone) color. The bag is a slouch shape, with a rounded bottom. You'll notice several different stitches used to give great texture(especially in person!). The back of the bag is more simple, mostly the sandstone with just a couple of ivory stripes.

The closure is a strap that stays put due to the heavy steel ring that sits across the front. It's been enclosed in crochet as well. Whether the bag is filled with just the essentials or filled to the brim, this closure will allow for flexibility but will stay put to keep the top of your bag closed.

The strap is hand-dyed leather. The lining is an irridescent screen printed fabric in a gold. It has a lovely sheen. The 1 inner pocket and strap loops are in a fun leopard print- a safari feel which compliments the colors of the bag. For a little extra embellishment, I've attached a couple of oversized buttons to the outside of the bag where the straps connect- they are a faux leather look. Love it!

The bag is very roomy- 12" by 11" tall, strap has a 10" drop.
