Oxidized Copper Helm Chain Chainmaille Bracelet

Description

This copper chainmaille (chainmail) bracelet was handmade by winding copper wire into a coil. I then cut the coil into individual rings. I wove the rings in a pattern known as Helm or Parallel Chain. I added a handmade hammered copper clasp and then oxidized the entire bracelet. The oxidation resulted in a coppery brown finish.

This bracelet is very open, light and airy. It has a very unique look and is wonderful for everyday wear.

This bracelet measures approximately 7 ¾ inches (19.7 cm) in length, including the clasp and will fit nicely on a 7 inch (17.8 cm) wrist. It is approximately 5/16 of an inch (.8 cm) wide.
