Granny Vine Red Block Crochet Afghan

Though winter is leaving us, there's nothing as cozy as a crocheted blanket to snuggle under as the weather (finally!) warms. This crocheted quilt is perfect for just that...

Extra long, this quilt is 84" long x 40" wide and hand-crocheted (over many many hours) with acrylic yarn. The colors, perfect for spring or a summer picnic at the beach, are a light palette, primarily of a light blue yarn, heather grey stripes, and red blocks throughout the quilt that certainly pop. The entire quilt is outlined in light grey.

I lovingly crocheted this quilt, over the course of a couple weeks. It's perfect for draping over you while you relax on the couch - I use mine for just that :) - and still lightweight enough that you'll be able to use it year-round. You can tell from the pictures here that it's quite large - it could even double as a bedspread on a twin...
