Batik Light Blue Heart

Description

This 13(l)inch x 17(w)inch batik is light blue with interesting squiggles radiating from the heart shaped center. This is a style I find myself drawn to when I get that wax moving! Created with paraffin wax resist and acrylic paint, this piece has significant body as no textile medium was used. Can be used for whole cloth machine quilting and embellishing or hung as is, I will sew a narrow casing at the top and hem the edges if you request! They are particularly beautiful when hung in windows allowing the light to shine through!
