Astroturf Summer

Description

A novelty yarn made from some really funky vintage fabric scraps. Well samples really. They were found moping in the fabric bin at goodwill. Lovingly washed and then gleefully shredded and the finished product is above. ^-^

A fun yarn that would make an interesting collage supply or perhaps a reconstructed/de-constructed wreath? I wouldn't suggest a scarf *Though it would be a wild one!* it's a bit scratchy.

Weave it as a part of a rug or a great little front porch pillow. What ever you decide to do with it, I'm sure it will be happy to hang out at your house.

Hand spun and tied tightly where the ends of strips join this is a sturdy *though quite prone to shedding!* little yarn skien of only 16 yards give or take.

*The fabric used to make this yarn is made of a product called Vinyon (PVC) as well as Acrylic. These were samples of fabric that I can only connect with an outdoor furniture company. These are shown in the second photo*

Please note that each personal computer has different color settings so while what I see is the correct colors, you may see something slightly different.
