Miniature Sushi Necklace

I love sushi. I also love polymer clay. This is what happens when you mix the two =) This was originally a charm bracelet, but in the end I felt that the charms were just a little too large and it was a bit bulky, so I made a necklace of them instead. There are, from left to right, a California roll, tamago, ikura nigiri, salmon nigiri, and a tuna roll. Each has dimensions between 1/2" and 1", roughly (1-2.5cm). They are all painstakingly handmade from polymer clay. All colors come from the clay and not from any kind of paint. They have all been sealed with varnish. The all findings are genuine silver plate, and the charms have been wire wrapped. The chain is about 18" long (45.5cm).

The picture of me wearing a necklace is a similar, previously sold sushi necklace (with shrimp instead of tamago). This one looks pretty much the same on.
