yesterday. jellyfish skirt.
Description
vintage robins egg skirt with an applique of a jellyfish. the jellyfish is made of vintage fabric with button eyes and colorful layers of rick rack, ribbon, twill tape and lace for the arms and tentacles (about 18"/45.7 cm of it!).hand wash recommended.
if you do machine wash i recommend tossing it into a pillowcase or lingerie bag to prevent the tentacles from tangling.
the skirt i a blend of 80% nylon, 15% cotton and 5% silk.
has a little stretch to it.
measurements lying flat:
waist- 28" unstretched, but will go comfortably to about 32" (71-81.3 cm)
hip- 40" (101.6 cm)
length- 29" (73.7 cm)
no closure, slightly elastic waist, side pockets.
would look best high waisted or on a tall dame.
