Original Oil Painting

Description

This is an original piece that I painted using oil on canvas.It is gallery wrapped, so no need for a frame and is wired on the back for hanging...

This particular piece is part of an ongoing series I am doing with very inventive and organic type imagery...in this series I begin with an ordinary object and build upon it and morph until it is no longer ordinary. This piece, and the others in it, are like small glimpses into an imaginary world. I won't explain what I was thinking when I made this piece - my goal is for you to find your own explanation...in fact, I leave the titles open ended so that that you may be able to take part in the work..

The title of this piece is "Still Life with flowers and...." ...and what? what do you see?

This particular piece has been shown in Memphis, TN and in Des Moines IA - but now it wants to find a permanent home....

The size is 24" high by 12" across... the perfect size for hangning in an office, living room, or fine art museum.
