This Mosaic Mirror / Wall Pocket is very sweet and decorative, it has two working titles,......
I LOVE Coffee and or Pouring my Heart Out. Both titles work, but I could not make up my mind. This piece would be great in a kitchen or a coffee shop,...it makes a unique conversation piece. This piece has a hanger on the back and is completely ready to hang on your wall. It measures 16 3/4" x 12 3/4". It has transfer ware pottery shards around the outside edge. Some of these pieces are very old and recycled to the fullest extend of the word, cleaned up and then used in this lovely piece of art. And some of the piece were pass on to me from an antique dealer, to do just what I have done with it,.....make Art.
The whole piece is contained in a cabinet sample that I found at the Habit for Humanity . The cup I used has a hairline crack in it (see picture), but I think it was a lovely way to recycle broken, chipped or in this case cracked pieces. Thanks for looking!!!
