An aigrette (from the word egret) is a feather trim, usually used on a hat. These two candy-pink aigrettes could be used to trim any special creation, not necessarily a hat! Each aigrette measures about 4.5 by 5 inches. The feathers are wired together at the ends and form a graceful curve. I am not certain what type of bird these feathers came from. I purchased these from an antique dealer but never used them. Price is for the pair.
