Yellow Ode to Klimt Fused Glass Plate with Dichroic Glass

Description

Inspired by the rich colors and gold details of Gustav Klimt's paintings, this fused glass plate is both beautiful and practical.

An original design by Judy, she carefully cut and ground the triangles in opaque red, opaque tangerine, and translucent yellow. Fitting them together in a pleasing pattern, she placed them on a clear sheet of glass to create a doubly-thick piece. Stripes of red glass create a border and set off the unique design.

Details of gold paint and dichroic glass add opulence and sparkle.

Fully fused and annealed for strength, this plate is food safe and washable.
