Brass Clock Plate with Gears

A truly hardcore piece from the SteamPunk Garage.
(Not for the faint of heart!!!)

The base of this pendant is a solid brass mirrored backplate from a spinning antique mantle clock. I created a wire loop at the bottom and linked several stainless steel chainmaille rings from the base where I attached a single gothic skeleton key.

In the center of the brass plate, I put three gears across and atop the center gear I put the winding clockspring of a wristwatch.

Above the center gear, I glued a single aztec-ish black and silver earring and flanked it with some brass metal bars. I attached this pendant to a thick metal 20-inch chain of spiraling loops beefy enough to hold up this chunky piece of steampunk bling!

Extremely one-of-a-kind.
