Red Klimt Fused Glass Plate with Dichroic Glass

Description

Bright, rich colors and touches of gold make this food safe glass plate sparkle.

Made from an original design (inspired by Gustav Klimt's paintings), Judy carefully cut triangles in translucent red and aqua to fit a 7" x 10" rectangular. Four triangles are filled by lemon yellow frit to create texture and interest. Touches of shimmery dichroic glass and gold paint add richness. Framed by strips of red glass, it is fully fused onto a clear glass background to create a strong, two-layered plate.

Care and craftsmanship are evident in this piece of functional art. This is a fully food safe tray; we recommend hand-washing. Use this tray as a serving piece for hors d'oeuvres or cookies, or place it in a stand to show off its colors.
