Sterling Silver and Cascading Glass Bead Necklace

Description

Five brightly colored millefiori-style glass beads give this necklace a burst of color. Each bead was strung onto its own sterling silver headpin. Each headpin was handwrapped multiple times to secure its bead onto a large link of sterling silver. A handwrapped sterling silver head pin was used to securely attach the waterfall of blue, yellow, red and white glass beads to a hand-finished sterling silver chain.

Handwrapped sterling silver wire was used to attach a sterling silver lobster clasp and jumpring to the chain. The wire was wrapped several times to firmly secure the components together.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches/45.72 cm from end to end. The glass and sterling silver focal piece measures approximately 1.5/3.81 cm in length.
